The New Power Commander V is loaded with tons of new features. It is compatible with 2009 and newer bike models.  The PC V's size is reduced to less than half the size of the PCIII.  USB powered from computer meaning a 9 volt adapter is not needed for programming.  There are 2 position map switching function built in.  The map switch is extra.  The PC V's map can be adjusted based on gear and speed, allowing each cylinder to be mapped individually and for each gear (for example: on a 4 cylinder bike with a six speed transmission there could be up to 24 separate fuel tables). There are 10 throttle position columns compared to PCIII's 9.
